General
Information: The Adrian Lions Club
Scholarship Committee is offering two $1500.00
scholarships to graduating seniors of Adrian
High School who intend to continue their
education beyond high school at a four year
college, a two year college, vocational
technical school, vocational institute, business
school, or some other qualifying training
institution. Scholarship to be awarded upon
proof of enrollment within one year of
graduating from Adrian High School.
ELIGIBILITY:
The applicant must be a graduating senior
currently enrolled in Adrian High School.
APPLICATION
PROCESS: Submit a completed application to
the counselor’s office by 4:00 P.M. on May 2,
2011. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE
CONSIDERED. APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETE AT
TIME OF SUBMISSION.

MATERIAL:
1)
Complete this application.
2)
High
school transcript through seven semesters.
3)
On a
separate page write a 250 word essay, focusing on
your educational goals and your plans for using
your education after completing training for a
degree. Essay is not to exceed 250 words.

Quality of applicant’s written essay.

Financial need.

Applicant’s future plans.

Note:
Although you are not required to type this
application, emphasis is given to neatness and
appearance of your application. The committee
feels that providing a professional application,
free of grammar and spelling errors, is an
important learning process for your future
endeavors. In some cases, final decisions may
be made on the quality of the application.
All students
interested in continuing their education are
encouraged to apply for a Adrian Lions Club
Scholarship. The intent of the committee is to
be supportive of student efforts to continue
their education. As community support grows,
the number of scholarships increases. Our goal
is to support all students with the
determination to continue their education.
