The Adrian School District met the AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) requirements for the 2006-2007 State Report Card. The elementary receiving an overall score of STRONG. The state
does not score the high school due to the enrollment numbers. The Adrian District Site Council reviewed the yearly goals set in 2006. A review of the goals found: Goal
1: Improve English/ Lang. Arts status in the high school by 8% points from 34.04% to 42.04%. Met goal as the class of 06-07 met at 61.06%. Goal 2: To improve
English/ Lang. Arts status of the subgroup Hispanic Origin by 10.7% points from 14.3% to 25%. Did not meet the 25% goal, 22.22% achievement. Goal 3: To improve math met
status of the subgroup Hispanic Origin by 10.7% points from 14.3% to 25%. Met this goal, achieving 42.86% meeting the state benchmarks. Goal 4: To improve math status
in the high school from 37.13% to 49%. Met goal, 74.39% meeting the state benchmark!
