Academic Information
  Academic growth and development are primary goals for all students at AHS. We strive to provide a climate that will foster and enrich each student's need and desire for learning. The total experience at AHS is aimed to prepare students to be successful as future citizens of the Unites States and the world. The following guidelines are provide in order to help students achieve their goals.

Certificate Of Initial Mastery (CIM)

Students who meet grade ten (10) state standards will be awarded a Certificate of Initial Mastery (CIM). Students will earn CIM certificates near the conclusion of their sophomore year, or receive extra help in order to pass CIM/Oregon State Assessments. The first Certificates of Initial Mastery were awarded in the spring of 2000 in English and mathematics.
