Senior Project

Senior Project Manual

Senior project is a program designed to prepare a senior for the working world. Senior students have the opportunity to research an occupation of interest and job shadow professionals in their chosen fields.  The program is developed into two semesters.  During the first semester, students concentrate on a specific occupational field.  They research the occupation, colleges and universities that offer programs relevant to their career choice, complete scholarships, participate a series of job shadows, and finalize their physical projects.  During the second semester, students complete their portfolio project that includes analysis of occupation, reflections of job shadows, senior project thesis, and concludes with a presentation to a board of professionals.

Mr. Camp is the English teacher at Adrian High. As such, he naturally falls into the position of teaching the research half of Senior Project. He is also the one who has taken the responsibilities of Senior Project Coordinator as well.
