Within the Walls of Adrian High School is
one of Oregon's best small schools. Adrian High students
believe that together, we can grow intellectually,
socially, emotionally, and physically to become lifelong
learners and productive citizens.
Adrian High School is home to
approximately 90 students in grades 9-12. Our strong
enrollment allows us to offer numerous extra-curricular
activities. Amazingly enough, over ninety percent
of our students participate in a variety of athletic
teams, clubs, or other extra-curricular activities.
At Adrian High we place a high priority
on academics. Our state scores in Reading, Writing, Math
and Science are consistently strong. Our senior project
curriculum has received high praise throughout the
region and has been the model used by most schools in
Malheur County and emulated by many other schools
throughout the state.
Adrian High offers a large selection of
electives for students, with
leadership,
music, biology,
agricultural sciences,
computer graphic/web design,
photography, and our
taxidermy program among the finest in the state.
Adrian High hosts an average of fourteen
Exchange Students each school year, creating a very
culturally diverse learning climate.
Adrian students have a sense of belonging
and pride in their community, their school, and
themselves. Their positive attitude is reflected in
their display of respect and admiration toward their
teachers and peers.
Adrian High students and staff are
dedicated to excellence in academics and
extra-curricular activities. We were recently awarded
the 1A All Sports Award by the Oregon Athletic Coaches
Association for 2007-2008, for outstanding achievement
by all of our athletic teams.
