Advanced Band

The Advanced Band consists of high school and 8th grade students. For the past several years, the Advanced Band has been performing at TVCC in Ontario for the district IX festival. Last year, they qualified to perform at the state competition. The Advanced Band did well at state and look forward to another opportunity this spring.  the Band packed up and headed to Corvallis for 3 days. The Advanced Band did well at State. Advanced Band and Beginning Band students also plays at the football and basketball games, when ever there is a home game.

Honor Band: Treasure Valley Honor Band took place November 15th at the Band Center in Nampa,  Idaho. Four Adrian Advanced Band students joined 60 other Treasure Valley High School students from Local High Schools. These students auditioned and were chosen join the Honor Band. They spent two days rehearsing with a guest conductor from the University of Idaho. The students that went were Jinell VanCorbach - Flute, Minchan Jun - Flute, Rebekah VanCorbach - Clarinet and Ruthie Gordon - Bassoon.

 
 

                         

       
   
   
   
   
   

 

 

 

Beginning Band
 

The Beginning Band is made up of 6th and 7th grade students.  They spend a lot of time building their skill level, while learning the fundamentals of music. 7th grade students are given the opportunity to participate in a middle school mass Band festival in the fall. they join with other students in Malheur county for a concert at TVCC. Beginning Band students often join the Advanced Band students for pep band.
