OASC Fall Conference

On November 3rd, the Adrian Leadership class woke up before the crack of dawn and traveled on a long bus ride to Seaside, Oregon. Every November for the past 8 years, Adrian has gone to the Oregon Association of Student Councils Fall Conference. OASC is an annual conference where schools throughout Oregon bring their student council and leadership classes to share and gain new ideas for their schools and communities.

This year, Adrian brought 18 students to the conference. One of the students, Katie Bowns, campaigned against one other candidate to become the next Eastern Oregon Representative. Kassi Daughtery, the 2006/2007 Eastern Rep., handed down her position to fellow Adrianite, Katie  Bowns. This is the 4th consecutive year that a student from Adrian has been involved in the Student Executive Council.

The Leadership class would like to thank their 4 advisors who came on the trip,
-Stephanie Allison, Lorine VanCorbach, Jim Haydock, and Julene Bowns-
the School Board, and other sponsors for making this trip the highlight of the year!
