Mrs. Allison was
born and raised in Southern California, moving about to several
different locations during her childhood. One principle she
learned through all the moves was that changes in life are
important. As she made those changes, she became more open to
new experiences. She learned to rely on herself and to be
independent. And she did have lots of fun and made many friends.
After
graduating from Edgewood High School in West Covina, Mrs.
Allison attended Mt. San Antonio College in Southern California.
Mrs. Allison has
lived in Adrian for over 15 years, and has been working for the
Adrian School District for ten years. She loves working at AHS,
and really appreciates her current job. She cares deeply about
the students at school, and at times feels like they are her
extended family.
Family is very
important to Mrs. Allison; she has a husband, three children
(Chris, Erin, and Ryan) and one grandson (Andrew). When she's
not doing things that have to do with school, you might find her
out shopping or working on the farm.
Mrs. Allison stated, "I like my current
location because of the peaceful environment of the Adrian
area. And Boise is a stone throw away. I like going shopping and
going out of town. I enjoy doing things that involve
assisting the students at school."
Her famous words
often stated to students and friends:
"FOCUS"
"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may
be the world."
