Ms. Brewer is the Special Education teacher at Adrian High School. Her job is to help students with learning challenges make progress in school and to prepare them for life after high school.

 
 

 

Ms. Brewer grew up on a farm in Adrian. She has three sisters. On the farm, they learned to feed and care for 4-H animals, to dig corrugates and start siphon tubes, and to drive tractors. Their favorite pastime was riding horses with friends out in the sagebrush, exploring the hills, and looking out for rattlesnakes.

Ms. Brewer graduated from Oregon State University. Following graduation she taught Title 1 reading. She has taught Talented and Gifted students as well as students with special needs. She has taught first and second grades. Before moving to Ontario, Ms. Brewer worked at Blue Mountain Community College conducting evaluations for students and adults with learning difficulties. She is now employed with Malheur Education Service District and works in Adrian School District Monday through Friday.

Ms. Brewer’s interests and hobbies include downhill skiing, biking, piano, traveling, movies and plays, concerts and good food. She likes to read a good book when she has time.

Ms. Brewer’s daughter, Jennifer Lembas, lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband, Jerry, and two year old daughter, Jaylen. When money and time allow, she travels to Phoenix to visit and experience the amazing things Jaylen learns to do in her absence.
