Adrian
Elementary School is located in Adrian Oregon, a farming community
in Eastern Oregon. Approximately 144 students from kindergarten
through eighth grade attend the school. The New Adrian Elementary
was completed in 2008 and opened its doors for students on August
18th 2008.
This gives the
school a great advantage with the average class size at 16.
Scientific research has shown that the optimum class size for
learning is 18. The state has placed great value with experienced
teachers. Our Highly qualified teachers have that experience. We
have highly qualified para professionals helping in the classes.
Many schools
have a half day Kindergarten. Our school goes all day and most of
the students come out of Kindergarten reading. Our teachers have a
close tie to the community. The new building with up to date
technology is a big plus. The community gives fantastic support to
their school by providing the newest building in the county.
Attitudes are very positive.
For the above
reasons, the state report card for our K-8 has included two
Exceptional ratings in the last ten years and received strong
ratings the remaining years.
