  Mr. Ellsworth

Mr. Ellsworth was born in Santa Paula, California to Otto and Mary Jane Ellsworth. His father was a petroleum engineer. His Mother and Father met on a ship going to India during World War II. They were married in India and have many adventurous stories.

Interest: He loved football and wrestling in high school. Also hunting was a big part of his family’s life back when you could easily get a deer tag and not too hard to get an elk tag. Chucker were a favorite along with any other bird

When Mr. Ellsworth was in Kindergarten his three older brothers, two younger sisters

along with their parents moved to Thailand for three years. They had many exciting adventures there. The family lived where they could have many kinds of animals including a porcupine, bear, monkeys, gibbons, barking deer, parrot, lizards of all sizes, anteater, turtles and more common animals like sheep, dogs, Mongolian ponies and rabbits. There were no pet snakes but the dangerous ones were cleared out of the yard by the two oldest siblings each day. In the neighborhood were elephants (to ride sometimes), water buffalo and other exotic animals.

After three years in Thailand the family moved home to California for a year and then to Parma, Idaho. On the way home the family toured for three months through India, Jordan, Egypt and European countries. They then traveled from England to New York City and across the United States.
